1 Mia Farrow

These celebrity cultures have made careers, set far-reaching trends, or even defined an era.

Celebrities swapping long locks for short hairstyles immediately caused a stir, but the original haircut that was heard around the world was when "Rosemary’s Baby" star Mia Farrow made the brave decision to cut off her long blonde locks. The dramatically shorter style that Vidal Sasson cut off in 1968 shocked many fans of the actress who were used to seeing her stockings flowing in the popular television series Peyton Place. Farrow’s iconic haircut paved the way for many stars (and non-celebrities) to take the shortcut.

2 Audrey Hepburn

The star "Breakfast at Tiffany’s" and "Roman Holiday" towered over her delicate frame with a short cut that flattered her elven features. She even managed to make the bangs look good in the middle of the forehead. Hepburn exuded style and class in everything she wore, balancing everything with an elegant but simple, short hairstyle.

3 Agyness Deyn

In 2007 the world was introduced to Deyn and her daring harvest. The platinum blonde fashion model is a virtual chameleon who creates several new looks from her boyish haircuts – from smooth and polished to spiky and messy. It’s no wonder that Anna Wintour of Vogue once used Deyn’s hairstyle as a "uncompromising" has designated.

4 Gwyneth Paltrow

In the 1998 film “Sliding Doors”, a romantic comedy about how your life can change completely, only If you Taking a subway or not, Paltrow starred in two parallel lives. Of course, she had two very different hairstyles to reflect the choices she had made in every life: a mousy, shoulder-length cut and an inverted bob that showed her swan-like neck and stole the show.

5 Linda Evangelista

The supermodels rock in their heyday short and sexy ‘Do’ on Runway and in George Michaels video for "Freedom ’90", which distinguishes her from other supermodels like Cindy Crawford, who wore the high volume hair popular in the 90s. However, the dramatic cut was not made without an initial price – after he got the young, not yet popular, young hairstyle in 1988, Evangelista was deleted from the big runway shows. But within a few months, the fashion world (and women everywhere) accepted their new look and their bookings increased again.

6 Jean Seberg

The actress literally breathed out with her tightly cut gamin cut in the 1960 film "Breathless" (the film was reissued with Richard Gere in 1983), which was a forerunner to the iconic abbreviation that Mia Farrow would receive years later.

7 Twiggy

Though known today as a guest judge for America’s Next Top Model, Twiggy became the world’s first supermodel in the 1960s. She helped determine the trend of the waif-like and slightly androgynous models with their sweeping, boyish haircut and exaggerated eye make-up.

8 Louise Brooks

Brooks starred in several silent films in the late 1920s, but her haircut spoke volumes. Her famous deep black flapper bob became so famous that women could inquire by name ("the Louise Brooks bob"). The sleek and sleek hairstyle is timeless – both Christina Ricci and Selma Blair have requested similar cuts.

9 Josephine Baker

The singer, dancer, and actress not only broke the ground with the first African-American woman to star in a major film, but she also took the short, sleek hairstyle and adopted it by twirling the ends to flirt shaped with pomade.

10 Emma Watson

In 2010, the "Harry Potter" star swapped her wavy auburn streak, which she couldn’t touch for ten years, for a pixie cut after the long film series and said, "It was the most liberating thing!" Watson’s cut is clearly from Inspired Mia Farrows and Twiggys famous styles. Get a haircut that goes against the convention? Hermione would be proud of it.

11 Victoria Beckham

The former Spice Girl fashion designer breathed new life into the popular bob hairstyle when she unveiled her modern and edgy, angled bob in 2007. Her signature cut spawned several prominent imitations, including Jenny McCarthy, Rihanna, and Katie Holmes. How chic.
